Education:

College diploma or equivalent of vocational certificates in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering .

 

Languages Required:

English written and oral.

• Demonstrated ability in writing workover programmes.
• Good knowledge in steam flood artificial lift methods and stimulation techniques, and all applications thereof.
• Proven HES management skills.
• Good organizational, scheduling and operational forecasting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multi-discipline teams.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Job Scope:

TheSeniorWell Services Engineer will be responsible to support the day to day operations of the Well Servicing hoist interventions and stand alone well intervention operations.Also, providing input and support where required to well and production optimization, completion design, liaise with Production Engineers, Wellsite Supervisors, & Operations Engineers. In addition, giving functional support to implement best practices and ensure development of the less-experienced engineers.

TheSenior Well Services Engineer responsibilities shallinclude but not limited to:

• First line management and support for all ongoing well interventions
• First line management and support to ensure HES standards and practices are maintained for each well intervention
• Create well programmes for each intervention
• Ensure compliance at the wellsite forwell integrity and programme adherence
• Conduct risk assessments for each  well
• Verify contractor procedures for the intervention
• Check well history
• Co-ordinate & organize equipment for the intervention
• Cost control per intervention – budget vs actual spend
• Plan vs actual measurement for each intervention – cost and productivity assurance
• First line technical support for each intervention
• Conduct behavior based site observations in accordance with Company requirements to monitor and enhance HES performance and as an integral element of well integrity and programme compliance auditing.

 

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of well engineering and operations experience (primarily workover hoist operations of ESP, PCP, steam flood operations, and well intervention operations) OR Secondary School with minimum of 15 years of well engineering and operations experience (primarily workover hoist operations of ESP, PCP, steam flood operations, and well intervention operations).
• Experience and exposure in field operations.
• Experience and practical understanding of various well servicing procedures and operations.
