Location:

Doha, Qatar

 

Education:

Bachelors degree in relevant engineering discipline or relevant HSE Science discipline.

 

Languages Required:

English written and oral.

 

Minimum Requirement:

• Good analytical skills with the ability to logically and rationally identify and diagnose problems and demonstrate a creative approach to problem solving.
• Knowledge of codes and standards and best practices of the world in relation to area of expertise.
• Benefical to have worked as a "regulator", or have experience of managing risk in a major hazardous industry.
• HSE Managment system implementation experience including detailed risk management programs such as "Safety Case" and " Process Safely Manahement".

 

Job Scope:

Provide technical expertise or specialism as required supporting the whole of the Directorate during the course of conducting its Regulations and Enforcement role of the Petroleum Industry.

 

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of relevant HSE and / or engineering experience preferably in the oil and gas industry including on and offshore.
