Minimum Requirement:

• Experience in analytical and numerical reservoir analysis techniques such as material balance, decline curve analysis, compositional/black oil reservoir simulation to evaluate the performance of the ongoing recovery mechanisms.
• Experience in running economic analysis, rolling up cost and production profiles for well picks and yearly business plans
• Experience in reserve estimating and reporting
• Proficient with PEEP software.
• Economic evaluation and risk management experience.
• Basic knowledge of the Reserves Management system (RMS).
• Familiar with VOLTS and data mining software.

 

Job Scope:

• Reserves Engineer is accountable for the quality assurance of all the reserve engineering analysis and responsible and accountable for internal and external reserves and resource reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all required guidelines and regulations.
• Familiar with reservoir characterization and reserves categorization.
• Knowledgeable of oil and gas reserves promotions from prospective resources to reserves.
• Work independently to calculate oil reserves, conduct oil reservoir evaluations, and provide application support relating to oil reserves and reservoirs
• Perform economic analysis for projects and roll up for the integrated yearly business plan
• Perform a roll up of reserves for the annual reserve reporting.
• Managing reserve reviews including new adds and revisions with appropriate documentation
• Participating in internal and external reserve audits.
• Proficiency in reserve analysis using decline curve analysis, volumetric, material balance, stochastic and analogue methodologies to assess reserves and development potential.
• Perform reservoir studies with focus on secondary recovery optimizations and depletion strategies.
• Integrate reserves bookings with depletion plan.

 

Experience:

Minimum 15 years’ experience in Reservoir Engineering discipline.
